Volunteer Opportunity: Two Way Learning with HSC Aboriginal Studies students

Can you help proofread for a Year 12 Aboriginal Studies student?

Ulladulla High School Aboriginal Studies, under the guidance of their teachers Sharon Bunyan and Georgia Lowe, select a topic they're passionate about to write a report, like these:

  • ‘Music is the Meditjin’: Connecting to Culture through Music in Contemporary Aboriginal Australia

  • Indigenous Women in Rugby League

  • Empowering Futures: Unravelling the Impact of Education on Economic Status in Aboriginal Communities

  • Decolonising Aboriginality: Understanding colonial constructs of Aboriginality and looking towards a future of self-determination

These kids have tried their best - and now they need a fresh set of eyes to help with proofreading!

Through this collaborative approach, we hope to not only enhance the academic experience of our students but also promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal issues within our community.

If you can help with proofreading: please send an email to admin@walkingtogether.au‍ ‍
